La Wanda Moorer has served as the Director of Human Resources (HR) at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas, since 2018. She is a member of the company’s Advanced Development Program Line of Business Leadership team, a position that involves oversight of HR Business Partners. Her responsibilities encompass all human capital and critical HR initiatives, as well as the development and implementation of HR strategy. To this end, La Wanda Moorer collaborates with various Lockheed Martin leaders and management teams. She has received the company’s Evening of Excellence Award for Leadership, in addition to completing the Lockheed Martin Human Resources Leadership Development Program.

Ms. Moorer has held several similar HR leadership positions at Lockheed Martin companies over the years. Between 2016 and 2018, she served as the HR Director at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Middle River, Maryland, preceded by over two years as the Director of HR at the corporation’s former Information Systems and Global Solutions in Herndon, Virginia.

La Wanda Moorer studied English as an undergraduate at Santa Clara University in California. She received her law degree from the Golden Gate University School of Law, with a specialization in labor and employment law.
